A COVENTRY University student grieving for both her parents was found dead in her home surrounded by empty alcohol bottles.
Katie Sheppard, 27, was found dead at her house in Coundon, in February, after worried neighbours raised the alarm.
A postmortem examination revealed she had been dead for a week before police were alerted.
An inquest heard how Katie had been mourning the deaths of her parents – her father who died in 2008 and her mother who died in 2010.
